Continuum Injury & Wellness Center Becomes First Personal Injury-Focused General Health Clinic in Florida to Earn AAAHC Accreditation
Fort Lauderdale clinic achieves AAAHC accreditation as it seeks to raise the bar for patient safety, clinical oversight and quality assurance in an industry long challenged by fraud and compliance concerns.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. June 24, 2026 — Amid longstanding scrutiny of fraud, over utilization and quality concerns within Florida's personal injury system, Continuum Injury & Wellness Center has earned accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), becoming the first personal injury-focused General Health Clinic in Florida to achieve the nationally recognized credential.
“Florida's personal injury market has struggled with perception issues for years," said Continuum owner Hylan Elias. "We wanted to build a clinic that could withstand the highest level of scrutiny from regulators, physicians, insurers, attorneys and most importantly, patients. That's why we pursued AAAHC accreditation before focusing on growth. We wanted accountability and transparency built into the organization from day one.”

We're Open — and We're Just Getting Started
On May 7, 2026, Continuum Injury & Wellness Center officially opened its doors — and we couldn't have asked for a better way to begin.
Our launch event brought together a wonderful group of people who share in our vision: attorneys, physicians, business partners, and community members who believe, like we do, that patients in South Florida deserve better. Better coordination. Better access. Better care.
Founder and Administrator Hylan Elias set the tone for the evening with a heartfelt address to guests, sharing the story behind Continuum — why it was built, who it was built for, and what it means to finally bring this level of multidisciplinary care under one roof in Fort Lauderdale. The room was full of energy, and the conversation that followed made clear that this community has been waiting for exactly this.
Guests had the opportunity to tour the facility — from our physical therapy and chiropractic suites to our fully equipped interventional procedure room — and to meet the exceptional team of providers who will be delivering care here every day.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us that evening. Your presence, your encouragement, and your partnership mean everything as we begin this journey.
The doors are open. The team is ready. And the best is yet to come.

Our founder was featured in Voyage MIA about life, business, and launching Continuum!
Founder and Managing Director Hylan Elias sat down with VoyageMIA Magazine for a feature exploring the story behind Continuum Injury & Wellness Center.
In the interview, Hylan traces his path from a career in data strategy and product management at BNY to founding a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic built to serve patients recovering from auto accidents and personal injuries.
He speaks candidly about the demands of launching a healthcare practice in one of the most regulation-intensive environments in the country—navigating AHCA licensure, CLIA certification, and the pursuit of AAAHC accreditation, a distinction held by a small fraction of ambulatory care organizations nationwide.
The conversation also highlights what sets Continuum apart: coordinated, integrated care across chiropractic, physical therapy, interventional pain management, non-surgical orthopedics, podiatry, and regenerative medicine, all under one roof, alongside an emerging specialized program for patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
Above all, Hylan shares the value at the heart of the clinic—a culture of accountability and a commitment to care that patients, referring providers, and the legal community can trust
