Letter From the Founder

This moment means more to me than I can probably articulate — but I'm going to try.

So, I come to healthcare from a very different world. I started my career as a paralegal at Greenberg Traurig here in Miami and then went on to build a career in hedge fund operations, regulatory compliance, and data team governance at global financial companies like Bridgewater Associates, Oppenheimer Funds and BNY Mellon.

Now, I know that might sound like an odd background for a rehabilitation clinic owner, but over the course of my career I learned time and again that systems matter when your margin for error is zero. That in a regulated environment, the difference between a clean process and a sloppy one has enormous consequences. Because of my work running complex regulatory data remediation projects, I know what airtight compliance looks like.  Through my time in derivatives trading operations, I know what documentation that holds up looks like.  And I know how to build systems where nothing falls through the cracks, just like I did at Bridgewater, the largest hedge fund in the world, where I built an end to end workflow ensuring enough counterparty liquidity for launch.

That obsession with operational excellence — that's something I've engineered into every aspect of Continuum, and I think it sets us apart.

Here's what that means for you practically.   When you refer a client to Continuum, you are not taking on a new administrative burden. You're offloading one. I am your point of contact — someone who speaks your language, understands the regulatory and legal landscape, and knows what you need from us for your case to be expedient and successful. You won't be chasing coordinators. You won't be untangling inconsistent records.  You'll have direct access to your client's file through our EHR system — log in, pull what you need, when you need it. No requests, no delays, no surprises before a deadline.

On the clinical side, I've assembled a team that matches that standard. Dr. Tad DeWald, our double board-certified medical director (PM&R and Sports Medicine), handles interventional pain management and regenerative medicine. We perform comprehensive assessments in-house — protecting your clients' PIP eligibility from day one.  We have in-house advanced imaging, chiropractic (led by Dr. Kristal Perez), physical therapy, podiatric medicine (led by Dr. Robert Kornfeld), interventional therapies including radiofrequency ablation (led by Dr. Tad DeWald and Dr. Amir Mahajer), and non-surgical orthopedics.       Everything your client needs, documented cohesively, under one roof. Because fragmented care means fragmented records — and fragmented records are what opposing counsel is counting on      .

I’d like you to think of Continuum as the bridge between the clinical world and your world. Between what happened to your client and what you can prove. Aside from operating a clinic that provides top-of-the-line patient care, my job is to make sure that the bridge is solid — so that when you get to the other side, your case is stronger, your documentation is cleaner, and your clients —our patients— get what they deserve for the injuries they have suffered      .

But more than anything —   and this is the thing I most want you to feel when you walk around tonight       — I want this place to feel like a refuge. Warm. Calm. Like somewhere you'd actually want to be, even on a hard day. Because healing isn't just physical. It starts the moment someone feels genuinely cared for.

If you’ve been looking for a clinic you can actually trust with both your clients’ case and their care, that's what Continuum is.  And that's what I'm here to build for you.
